The pandemic has been a difficult and trying time for all. I wanted to convey  a message through my artwork, to show the power of positivity, love and  hope. And how important it is to look out for one another, that we are  stronger together. I usually work in graphite though felt it was relevant to  use coloured pencils in this piece. The reference photo used was of my  children’s hands over mine. Like many I have been working from home and  have home-schooled my children. So, it’s been really important to stay  positive.
