Katy Doncaster

As a forest school leader and horticultural therapist, I am outdoors in all weathers and all seasons. This is where I have found inspiration, comfort and solace during 2020. But the continued destruction of habitats, and the felling of ancient woodlands due to development of roads, railways and building, is deeply troubling, and seemingly unstoppable. In this work, I wanted to encapsulate our connection to nature, and our destruction of it, as a reminder to us that we need it to survive.
