It’s difficult to talk about what’s happened, what we’ve been and are still going through, without it hurting. It’s hard enough when someone close dies but when thousands die, you then start to take on other people’s grief too and it starts to eat away at you. You get to a stage where words are useless and there is nothing you can do or say which will make a difference to those in pain. You find that all you can do is let the anger, pain, sadness, and tears drip into your work and hope.

Goodbye
I could just see you fading into the distance
You were there but not
I could feel you all around me, but I couldn’t see you
